Retirement

Retirement

It is with regret that the Board of Directors is announcing the retirement of Debbie Decker as the General Manager of TCTS. Debbie has been with our organization since 2004, first as Dispatch and Administrative clerk and later assuming the position of General Manager. Through her hard work and dedication Debbie was instrumental in growing TCTS from a small operation with two used vehicles to one of the largest community-based transportation services in Nova Scotia with a fleet of twelve vehicles, including buses and vans, eight of which are wheelchair accessible.

The Board and all staff members wish her success and happiness in her life choices!!

From Debbie Decker

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with TCTS over the years, working with various community groups, the municipalities, and the Province of Nova Scotia ministers and staff members. With their help, and guidance from the TCTS Board, my staff and I were able to ensure that TCTS met the growing need for alternative transportation in the community. I miss working with the excellent office staff and drivers over the years who enjoyed helping the seniors, those with disabilities, and other users of the service who required transportation assistance. I can honestly say that it was a pleasure working in an organization that is so needed and appreciated in our community.

I wish all the best success to TCTS and to the community!
